Hair Braiding Styles – Top 5 Mistakes to Avoid

Ever wonder why some hair braiding styles look less than gorgeous? Perhaps it’s because the wearer is making some easily avoidable mistakes that prevents the style from looking its best. Check out the following mistakes and see if you might be making them in your own hair care program.

Mistake #1: Excessive Blow Drying

Remember that hair is sensitive and is prone to damage if you don’t treat it with care. The heat from blow drying can destroy the hair’s integrity with excessive use. So a good rule of thumb is to only blow dry when necessary. When you do use a blow dryer, use a nozzle to diffuse the heat. If you don’t, you risk getting the hair too close to the heat coils, which can scorch the hair.
